A mandala is an image, more or less circular in form, which Tibetan Buddhists use to focus their contemplation. The King Mandala is thus not a mandala in the strictest sense. But you may want to explore it as a way of meditating on Dr. King's legacy, keeping in mind that the source images were made by young children whose parent's were children themselves when Dr. King was in his glory.
